MG Motors has established a strong foothold in the Indian market in a very short time with its powerful and affordable vehicles. MG has impressed its customers with the performance of cars like Hector, MG ZS EV, Windsor EV and MG Astro. Keeping this in mind, MG Motors is 4 new MG cars coming soon. including MG M9, MG Cyberster, MG 4 EV and MG Majestor. Let us look at its important details like its launch date, price and performance.
MG M9
The company has prepared to launch the MG M9. MG Motors launched it in the India Mobility Expo 2025, whose starting price will be between 70 lakh to 80 lakh. The MG M9 MPV has a 90 kWh battery pack which can give a range of 400 km to 500 km on a single charge. Along with this, a front mounted electric motor has been used in the M9 which generates 246 hp power and 350Nm torque, which gives it a top speed of 180 km/h.
This car has many luxury features like electric sliding doors, ambient lighting, 3 zone climate control and panoramic sunroof which make it a premium segment car. This car is going to be a 6 to 7 seater car. According to some sources, M9 EV can start its delivery from July to September 2025. However, the company has started its pre-booking.
MG Cyberster
MG Cyberster became quite popular among the people due to its attractive sporty looks and excellent power. This car is going to be a sports electric car which will compete with cars like BMW Z4 and Kia EV6.
MG Cyberster comes with a 77 kWh battery pack that gives a range of 400 km to 500 km in a single charge, it takes just 38-39 minutes to charge its battery from 0 to 100 % using 144 kW fast charging which is quite good, in this car we get to see two motor options rear wheel drive and All-wheel drive which give power of 340 bhp to 503 bhp and torque of 475 Nm to 725 Nm due to which this car touches 0 to 100 km in just 3.2 sec to 4.9 sec, it depends on its motor variant.
The company has provided many advanced and premium features in Cyberster EV such as heated sports seats, scissor doors with anti-pinch. The company has kept its starting price between 60 lakh to 80 lakh, and we can expect to see its delivery by 20 September 2025.
MG 4 EV
People were eagerly waiting for the MG 4 EV showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 to come to India, so finally this car will be launched in India in the month of December 2025. This car looks very attractive and also has many advanced features. Magnetic synchronous motor has been used in this car which comes with Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive drive.
This car will be available in two battery variants (49 to 51 kWh, 64 kWh). If we talk about the power and performance of the MG4 EV, here you will get two options of 125 hp and 250 hp with 49 kWh to 51 kWh battery which will give a range of 423 km, whereas in the 64 kWh battery pack you get to see 320 hp power with 600 Nm torque which will give a range of 480 km (AWD) to 540 km (FWD).
Now if we talk about its price, the company has not yet officially disclosed the price of this car in India, but on the basis of some authorised websites its starting (ex-showroom) price could be between 30 lakh to 35 lakh.
MG Majestor
MG Majestor is going to be a SUV category vehicle or it is going to be an upgraded version of MG’s Gloster, although it has the same engine as Gloster which gets 158 hp power and 374 Nm torque in 2.0L Turbo-Diesel, although its design is quite attractive and bulky which competes with Toyota Fortuner. This SUV comes with both Rear-Wheel Drive and Four-Wheel Drive, it also comes with 6 or 7 seating capacity, so you can easily create space in it.
Now if we talk about the price and launch dates of MG Majestor, till now the company has not officially revealed the price, but on the basis of some sources and popular websites, its starting price can be from 40 lakh to 45 lakh, while if we talk about its launch date, then it can be launched in the market between October or November 2025.
